Oak Hill School Garden

One of the many exciting projects at Oak Hill School, this summer 2014 project replaced a crumbling and dangerous brick retaining wall, and reinvigorated a central campus social space and educational garden program important to the community.

the tiles became a major summer art project for long-time art teacher Diane Hill

teachers and students both created their own art wall tiles

craftsmanship and design were both critical to its success

the grand garden entry at the heart of the school is now a popular location for many group photo shoots

There was an 8' solid cedar fence originally designed for this, but I talked them into this lower, open, juniper rail fence. . . and thankfully the deer have not been a problem so far.
